We use the best tested freight companies for delivery of your new comfort system direct to your home or business. Average transit time once the systems leave our warehouse is 3 -7 business days. Actual delivery schedule will be determined based on destination. Through our large volume and daily shipment schedule, we are able to obtain deep discounts, top rated service and a saving that we pass onto you. By default, all deliveries are made with a lift gate unload of the equipment to your destination, unless otherwise requested by you. Business deliveries, terminal pickups and warehouse direct pickups are routine for our organization.

A Few Words Regarding "Free Shipping"

People have stated that they have been offered "Free Shipping" by some companies on other product purchases. We do not offer free shipping but decided to look at the idea. This is what we found:

1.) We sent a message to all our shipping companies and said that our customers would like free shipping and please have someone from the free shipping department contact us. Our thought was that if there were companies out there willing to deliver our shipments to our customers without billing us that would make everyone involved happy. We did not get a single carrier to agree to provide us with "Free Shipping". In fact they laughed and asked if we were serious. We said yes. That is where that ended.

2.) Then we set out on a deeper search for "Free Shipping". We combed every source we could find looking for "Free Shipping". We searched high and low and still came up empty. We found something called Quantum Transportation. We thought that since this process would only take seconds it must be cheap or Free. While neat they could not guarantee that the system would assemble itself on the other end and be able to keep it's warranty. It was very expensive, wow. We also had a problem understanding it and it looked really dangerous. But once again. Not "Free".

Then we even went back to the basics. If it is simple it must be free.

Nope. No "Free Shipping" there.

3.) After several months and many hours spent, the boss was getting a little irritated that we were off on a quest to find "Free Shipping" and were really not showing up at the office much even though we explained that this seemed to be a major project. After a day of reviewing what we had learned we took a look at what we were up against. We looked for similar or exact product matches for what we offer from companies that offer "Free Shipping" and here is what we found.

Our price on this complete system is $1989.00.

So we decided to get a freight quote to the furthest point across the country (48 States) that we ship to which is in the vicinity of Redmond Washington (Zip Code 98052). We requested residential delivery with lift gate unload from the truck for the customer. The freight quote was $261.00 making the Smarterway total delivered price (TDP) = $2,250.00. That's the $1989.00 + the freight of $261.00.

So we compared another supplier that has "Free Shipping" and here is what we found. Their price on the same exact unit delivered was $2,450.00 + $24.68 for a fuel surcharge making their total delivered price = $2,474.68.

So then we went to do the math:

Other Company Offering "Free Shipping" = $2,474.68

Smarterway Price with Shipping = $2,250.00

Smarterway was $224.68 cheaper. Exact same unit. Exact same delivery. Our customer actually saved money by not using "Free Shipping". And we ran the worst case scenario.

This could not be right. We were left scratching our heads. We were cheaper than the companies offering "Free Shipping" even when we added freight. We checked and rechecked our numbers but came to the same totals. Unbelievable. That was even a test to the furthest point and anyone living closer would have a much greater savings.

Still wondering what was going on we decided to run another test. Once again we used the same unit costing $1989.00. This time we tested delivery to Atlanta Georgia (Zip Code 30320).We requested residential delivery with lift gate unload from the truck for the customer. The freight quote was $146.00 making the Smarterway total delivered price (TDP) = $2,135.00. That's the $1989.00 + the freight of $146.00.

So we compared that another supplier that has "Free Shipping" and here is what we found. Their price on the same exact unit delivered was $2,450.00 + $24.68 for a fuel surcharge making their total delivered price = $2,474.68.

So again we went to the math:

Other Company Offering "Free Shipping" = $2,474.68

Smarterway Price with Shipping = $2,135.00

Smarterway was $339.68 cheaper. Exact same unit. Exact same delivery. Once again our customer actually saved money by not using "Free Shipping".

We tested complete system and other combinations of equipment to other destinations and found the same thing. Smarterway is less expensive than "Free Shippers".

Less. Less. Less. Less. Le... Smarterway was the best deal.

After discussing this with the boss we decided that offering "Free Shipping" would just cost our customers more and we decided it was not worth it and was not in the best interest of our customers.
